  • RCFH believes that cannabis is an potent herb with many properties.  Patients deserve the right to access medical cannabis for its healing qualities.  However, cannabis is not  for everyone, and accessing the correct strain of this herbal medicine may be difficult for patients.
  • RCFH does not provide cannabis. Furthermore, we are not affiliated with any caregiver(s). RCFH offers certification only! The patient must make arrangements with a caregiver of their choice.  When choosing, make sure they have a strain of the herb that will address your specific health problem.
  • RCFH recommends that patients do not consume cannabis until after they have received their Montana Medical Marijuana Registration Card from the Montana Department Health and Human Services.
  • Initiative 148 stipulates that, once a patient has a medical marijuana card, they may: Grow 6 plants for their own use. Identify a “caregiver” (or grower) who will be authorized by them to grow an additional 6 plants.
  • Beware: a “plant” is considered anything from a sprouted seed to a large plant.
  • Remember, possession of cannabis is still a federal felony.  Do not take this herb to the Post Office, National Parks, BLM land, or any federal building or site.  Do not take it to the airport.
  • Some strains of cannabis cause more psychotropic effect (high feeling) than others.  Do not use this herb and drive or operate machinery.
  • Many people are uncomfortable with cannabis.  It is only common sense to refrain from usage in public.
  • Cannabis is a misunderstood herb.  Many, if not most, health care providers and lay persons alike are unaware of its properties and potential.  This will change as  science catches up with propaganda.  However, it is important to remember that we cannot “make” someone change their belief.  We can only offer insight, and “let” them choose how to think.  In the end, being pushy is probably counter-productive.
